I'm at about 1/3 of what I used to smoke and, yes, it is helping a lot. Richard, my new best friend, surrogate brother and Musical Director of the show, has suggested that perhaps I shouldn't go cold-turkey, as a) the stress on me at this point is sheer insanity and b) I'm busting my ass with the singing and there's a chance that going quitting outright while putting this much strain on my throat might fuck it up before the show... and, after all this, and all the work I gotta do from here on in?
