Anyway, it’s taking up a lot of my time and most of my headspace. I’m frickin’ DREAMING about this shit.

It’s a tough one. There’s one song, “Man” which is… well, it’s a workout in and of itself!

Add “Michael Jordan’s Ball”, the choreography of which almost killed me last night, into the mix and…

God DAMN! I thought it’d be WAY easier than it is…

But it’s also going to be AWESOME!

But because of this, the comics, intermittant as they are, are going to be a lot MORE intermittant.

I’m gonna try to do some as we go, especially when my Cintiq gets here!!!, but, at this point, I’m not sure how many I’m gonna be able to do.

This musical theatre stuff is fuckin’ HARD, man!

OW. I got a LOT of work to do.

I thought I posted this already… 

I did this one while on the lake in one of the few quiet moments.

On Wednesday, we left the cabin in Wisconsin and started driving. About 9 hours later, we got to Omaha and I checked into a hotel… after searching for one for about 45 minutes. Of course, your ol’ Uncle Elvis completely didn’t think to book one. Durr.

Got into the room, took a hot shower, then flopped off on the bed, thinking to get some sleep. Yeah. Not happening. At about 2:30am, I got up and hopped on the computer, figuring I’d get some emails done, then be tired. 4am hits and I finally get to sleep, only to wake up 2 hours later to get dressed to go to the airport. 

Fly to Chicago, sneak outside for a smoke, then back in (thank GOD the security lines were fast), a quick backrub from a Bulgarian man at “The Back Rub Hub”, then off to Gate G4… only to find that my flight has been changed to K4. WHEE! FUN!

I race to the new gate, snag a Mocha Frappacino (I hate Starbucks, but I’m addicted to these!) and board.
On the flight, I get, like, 30 minutes of sleep.

JFK! Gotta love it. I walk off the plane, down the hallway and boom, I’m at the gate for Bermuda. I snag another Frappucino and sit off. We board. We wait. We wait some more. I chuck the iPod on and go over the songs for The Full Monty , then am rudely interrupted in the middle of air-guitaring the solo in “Big Black Man” by an announcement that the flight’s been “delayed” until tomorrow.

Fuck it. I get out, wait around at the gate to see if they’re going to chuck some moolah at us for a hotel room, then, when I figger out they aren’t, I boot it to a Comfort Inn. 

NOW, I can get some sleep, right?

Yeah… not so much.

I wasn’t aware that trash trucks picked up garbage ALL FRICKIN’ NIGHT!

4:30am alarm hit WAY too early, then off to the plane. 

I get in to Bermuda about 11:00.

I’ll tell you. As AWFUL as the humidity was when I got here, it is SO good to be home.

I’ll be back to normal in a bit, with everything set up.

So, I got virused. My own stupid fault.

I had to do a complete reinstall of XP after backing up everything.

Luckily, most of my data was saved, but the programs… ugh.

I’ve got most of the installers somewhere, it’s just a matter of finding them all. I’m not the most organized person in the world. Almost there.

Thanks for the advice and stuff, Slowhand. You da (computer) man!
